A Stiff Italian Invention

Made with gin, campari, and sweet vermouth served on the rocks with an orange twist. Said to have been invented in Italy in the early 20th century when Count Camillo Negroni decided his normal drink wasn't quite stiff enough. He asked his bartender to lose the soda water and substitute it with gin instead - and the "Negroni" was born.
